Baltimore Suspect Dies

BALTIMORE (AP) – Top officials in Baltimore at City Hall and the police department are promising a thorough investigation of a man who died of a severe spinal injury while in police custody. 

The arrest happened April 12, but investigators say they haven’t determined what caused the fatal injury. 

An autopsy found significant spinal injury. 

A lawyer for the family of Freddie Gray says the 25-year-old’s spine was "80 percent severed at the neck."
