Bathroom wall threat spreads to north Georgia
FT. OGLETHROPE, Georgia (WDEF) – The spring time wave of school threats written on a bathroom wall has spread to north Georgia.
LFO High School in Ft. Oglethorpe was evacuated briefly around noon on Thursday.
School officials tell us the threat was that someone would blow the school up.
Law Enforcement swept the building to make sure there was not device, then classes resumed.
We are hearing that at least one school in Hamilton County is locking bathroom doors during class as a prevention.
Erik Avanier will talk to the principal at East Ridge High about that tonight at six.
