Batter up and swing back to the 1860s with the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball

FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. (WDEF) – Batter up and time travel to the 1860s with the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball’s competition for the Sulphur Dell Cup.

Teams bring history to life from the rules to historically accurate costumes of the 1860s.

The Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball hopes to encourage a sense of belonging regardless of race, gender, religion, or physical ability.

This weekend, teams from Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville will compete for the Sulphur Dell Cup in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. The games will be happening all day Saturday into Sunday and all are welcome.
