Bearden High School vs. Bradley Central High School

Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – After a bye week, Bradley Central was back home Friday night against Bearden.

The Bears were looking to push their record to 5-1 on the season with a victory over the Bulldogs.

It was a wet, and sloppy night at Bears stadium.

First quarter, no score.

The Bears are on offense, Cole Copeland trying to make it down field, but he gets stopped by the Bulldogs.

Next play, Copeland with the pass to Kevin Gentry, who makes the first touchdown of the game.

The extra point is good, and that makes the score 7-0.

Rain made it tough for the Bears to keep their footing.

Cortland Bradley goes down.

Then it was Cole Copeland slipping down.

Somebody call life alert, because another Bear is going down.

This time it’s Adam Mullis.

The Bulldogs somehow were able to stay on their feet.

Cameron Jones on the pass to Ty Warren, who takes it down the field for the touchdown!

The extra point is good, making the score 7-7 at the end of the first quarter.

Bearden holds on to beat the Bears 28-27.
