Bi-Lo Donates more than $75,000 to Local Charities

(WDEF) Seven different area non-profits got a share of more than $75,00 Friday…
     All thanks to Bi-Lo.
     The Bi-Lo Holdings Foundation made the announcement to capture the season of giving.
     The grants were awarded specifically to organizations that address hunger.
     Bi-Lo awarded the Chattanooga Community Kitchen, Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland, Chattanooga Room at the Inn, Chambliss Center for Children, Here I am, Inc. And Tennessee Wesleyan College.
     Bi-Lo District Director Daryl Massey said, "We’re just really thankful that we’re supported by our customers and we’re always glad to give back and it’s just great to support the community and one easy way to do that is support these non-profit organizations that do a lot of the work on the ground."
     Several hundred non-profits applied.
