Bicyclist hit by car, sustained major injuries

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A vehicle hit a bicyclist on McCallie Avenue Friday morning, according to Chattanooga Police.

They received a call about a pedestrian that had been hit just after 3 a.m.

They then found the 55-year-old man in the road at 1032 McCallie Avenue.

CPD said emergency personnel took the victim to a local hospital.

However, they said he had life-threatening injuries.

Chattanooga Police are investigating to find out who hit the bicyclist.

They are asking anyone with information to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip using the Atlas One App.
