Blue Angels to fly over Chattanooga Unite: A Tribute on the River

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – There’s another attraction coming to Chattanooga Unite, the Navy Flight Demonstration Team the Blue Angels!

They will do a flyover to honor the fallen heroes from the terrorist attack from July 16th.

They usually only do major airshows, so this is a big deal.

The Chattanooga Unite: A Tribute on the River is a benefit that includes a free concert.

It’s an all day event that starts with an armed forces parade at 2 p.m.

The event will be emceed by Chattanooga native Samuel L. Jackson.

The Blue Angels are slated to flyover Ross’s Landing at 4:30.

Harry Connick Jr. will perform around 4:45, and country music artist Brantley Gilbert will play afterwards.
 
There will also be fireworks at the end of the night.

No tickets are being sold, but donations are encouraged.

All the funds raised will go to the National Compassion Fund.
