Bradley County makes 6 felony arrests, seizes 4 handguns during Memorial Day weekend saturation

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – Bradley County Sheriff’s Office deputies spent the long holiday weekend combating impaired and reckless driving.

The Memorial Day weekend special saturation started Friday, May 27th at 12:00 a.m. and ended Tuesday, May 31st at 12:00 a.m.

Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson said, “The goal of this weekend’s saturation was to minimize the number and severity of traffic accidents over the Memorial Day weekend. Deputies were positioned across the Bradley County area in order to prevent, detect, and apprehend impaired or reckless drivers on the roadways. Fortunately, this area didn’t experience any fatal accidents during the holiday weekend. The hard-working men and women from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office should be commended for their hard-work during the Memorial Day weekend.”

• (6) Felony Arrests
• (8) Narcotic Arrests
• (2) D.U.I. Arrests
• (52) Misdemeanor Arrests


One of the four handguns seized was reported stolen earlier this year.
