Bradley County Gets New Investment
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Wacker Chemie AG is adding to its investment in Bradley County.
Tennessee officials announced this morning that the company plans to build a new production plant in Charleston.
It will make Wacker’s new silica.
The company will invest $150 million dollars to make that happen and create about 50 new jobs.
Wacker came to Bradley County 8 years ago and has invested more then 2.5 billion dollars.
That’s the largest single investment in Tennessee history.
