Bradley County Sheriff holds “church safety” meeting Monday night
Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson hosted a seminar aimed at informing area churches and houses of worship about safety Monday night.
The meeting marked the second of its kind in a year.
Officials say around 100 pastors, workers and members attended.
Sheriff Watson and other speakers agreed that a "network" between the churches is essential.
They urged members to know who "comes through the church door."
He also encouraged churches to start safety programs, if they do not already have one.
