Bradley County Sheriff makes traffic stop that leads to drug bust

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Sheriff, himself, made a drug bust in Bradley County this weekend.

Sheriff Eric Watson made the traffic stop on 25th street Saturday night.

He spotted a green vehicle travelling in two lanes for several hundred yards.

When he pulled it over, he found the driver had a revoked license.

The occupants did not consent to a search of the vehicle, so Sgt. Santos and his K-9 partner, Max gave the car a once-over.

Max alerted on the passenger floorboard.

Officers ended up finding a variety of drugs in the car and on the passengers, including marijuana, pills and suspected meth.

The charges broke down this way.
