Bradley County Sheriff surprises pulled-over drivers with Christmas dinner
Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – Sheriff Eric Watson of Bradley County explained, "Now this time of year, it’s a joyous season, but it’s also a stressful season."
Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson wants to help ease the stress… by pulling people over.
He added, "This is the first year ever the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office doing traffic stops and rewarding people for doing the right thing."
That means drivers who aren’t texting, are wearing their seat belts, driving the speed limit, and using their turn signals may get rewarded for making the nice list.
Deputies surprised 30 different drivers on Friday with gifts.. instead of grief.
And what better way to say Merry Christmas?
