Bradley Schools tout improved graduation rates
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Bradley County Schools are proud of their graduation rates in a state report for last year.
“We are beyond excited and delighted to announce that our graduation rate for the 2020-2021 school year is 95.8%”, stated Dr. Linda Cash.
The Director of Schools says this is the 8th year in a row that the rate is above 91%.
This year’s graduation rate is an improvement over last year’s and well above the 88.7% state average.
Bradley County has the second highest rate in our region (Meigs County is tops).
Their goal was to hit 95% by this year, but they reached it a year early.
“This is due to the hard work and dedication of our school leaders, teachers, students and parents who want to
ensure our students leave high school prepared for college or the work force. We also want
to thank the administrative staff members who work diligently behind the scenes to track
our students throughout their high school careers.”
