Bradley stabbing suspect was captured by his own family

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) Bradley County authorities have charged a man in a weekend stabbing.

22 year old Thomas Burdin faces two counts of attempted 1st Degree Murder.

Deputies were called to a home at 931 Bell Road on Saturday just before midnight.

They found two people with stab wounds.

Burdin’s mother came up to deputies and told them that family members were restraining him in a nearby backyard.

She said he was acting crazy and making threats to harm himself.

He was arrested without incident.

Both of the victims were taken to the hospital.
