Breaking: Judge dismisses domestic assault charges against husband of Mayor’s advisor
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A judge has dismissed the domestic assault charge against Bobby Stone.
The charges came from a domestic incident between Bobby and Lacie Stone, who is an adviser to Mayor Andy Berke.
And after this morning’s hearing, Bobby Stone came out firing against the Mayor.
He re-iterated to the media that his wife was having an affair with the Mayor, and that his office conspired with police to have him charged.
The couple fought over a phone last May.
She said he drug her by the belt and threw a rock through the window of her car as she left him.
Lacie says she went to the home of Chattanooga Police Chief Fred Fletcher for protection.
He sent officers to interview Bobby.
On Friday, attorneys worked out an agreement between the two parties and District Attorney General presented a motion to the judge to dismiss the charges.
The Judge agreed.
Previously, both Lacie Stone and Mayor Berke have denied they were having an affair.
