Bus driver in 2016 Woodmore Bus Crash registers as sex offender

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF)- The bus driver in the 2016 Woodmore Bus Crash that killed six children is now registered as a sex offender.

Johnthony Walker had been in a state prison due to a conviction on an aggravated statutory rape charge in 2018.

He was released earlier this year after serving that sentence.

According to the TBI’s sex offender registry, Walker had to register following his release this month.

His profile says that he is now homeless in the Nashville area.
