Car catches fire on I-24

HALETOWN, Tenn. (WDEF) — Friday morning, a vehicle caught fire on I-24 in Haletown.

The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department said they responded to the call at around 7:45 a.m.

The vehicle caught fire on I-24 eastbound at mile marker 162, authorities said.

The fire department said they quickly extinguished the flames soon after arrival.

No one was injured.
