UPDATE: Car into house in Rossville

Rossville, Georgia (WDEF) — According to Fort Oglethorpe Police, a man in his 60’s was behind the wheel of the car that ran into a home on Flagstone Drive.

Captain Gary McConathy tells News 12 he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Neighbors told police he lives in the area and has medical conditions.

Captain McConathy says he was traveling 25-30 mph when he is said to have had a medical emergency, and veered off the road into the house.

Officials say no one was home at the time.

Captain McConathy says the crash caused a fire, and the driver was burned in the crash.

Police say there were no skid marks at the scene.

Rossville, Georgia (WDEF) — Officials tell News 12 a car crashed into a house on Flagstone Drive this morning.

At the scene, the car had been removed but debris remained.

Catoosa County Fire was on the scene when News 12 arrived.
