Casey’s Barge Starts to Sink

     Casey’s Barge on the riverfront may be sinking again, after its entire front deck was swept away by the Tennessee River current.
     Witnesses say something snapped and the building started leaning forward.
     The front deck of the barge was submerged underwater as debris floated away.
     Chattanooga Fire and Police Department were both on the scene but couldn’t do anything to stop it.
    The barge has been called an eyesore in Chattanooga for many years and government officials want it gone.
      One woman called TVA officials to report the barge sinking.
      She says they told her they couldn’t do anything about it either.
