Cat Hoarder admits “I need help” in Lookout Valley
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – After getting complaints about a cat smell in the Lookout Valley community, animal control officers descend on a house in the 7000 block of Maplewood Avenue.
They ended up taking more than 60 cats out of the home.
Officers described the home as “one giant litter box.”
They say the cats have trashed the inside.
The lady who lives there told them “I need help.”
Humane Education Society members spent the rest of the afternoon trying to catch stray cats.
They believe there will be more than 70 when they are all collected.
Several are really sick and all will be tested.
