Caught on Camera: Dalton Police Search for Answers From Man About Recent Home Burglaries

Several Dalton homes have been burglarized in recent months, all in the same area along Walnut Ave.
Now, surveillance video from one house shows a clear image of a man officers think may have some answers.
The video shows the man walk up to a house and look inside.  He tries to open the door and even looks directly into the camera, then he hangs out for about six minutes.
Police aren’t calling him a suspect but would like to talk to him to see if he has information about recent burglaries.
One happened around the same time the man was caught on camera.
"We don’t necessarily consider this person a suspect but we would love to find out if he has any information on this incident…he was in the area  when one of these burglaries occurred so we’re just hoping maybe he can help us in the investigation," said Bruce Frazier, Dalton Police Department Public Relations.
The homeowner that caught the man on camera  says he’s glad he had the security cameras.
"When you have a house and a big investment in the house you want to protect what’s yours maybe a little paranoia but at the end of the day we got a very nice security system it’s 360 surveillance and it’s done it’s job," said the homeowner, who asked not to be identified.
If you know who the man in the video is…you’re asked the Dalton Police department.
