CFC Expect Tough Road Test in League Opener at New Orleans

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The CFC lost in the U-S Open Cup on Wednesday, but the real season starts Saturday as they travel to face the New Orleans Jesters for their league opener. But apparently there’s nothing easy about playing in the Big Easy.
Said head coach Bill Elliott:”Everything about it. The locker room is uncomfortable. The fans. What fans there are are very rowdy, and they’re right on top of you. Just always seems to be a really tough place to play.”
Said CFC player Sindre Welo:”I wouldn’t say that New Orleans is one of those places you look forward to playing at, but we just want to go there and get the job done. Get home with three points, and that’s what we have done the last couple of years. Hopefully we’ll do that this year too.”
The CFC and New Orleans will get underway at 8pm on Saturday.
