CFC Hosting Match in U.S. Open Cup

Chattanooga, TN (April 6, 2016)— Chattanooga FC is thrilled to announce that they will host a second round match of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Wednesday, May 18th at 7:30 pm. CFC will welcome the winner of the first round match up between the Atlanta Silverbacks Reserves and Reading United AC who play the week before.
“It’s an amazing opportunity to showcase the longest running cup tournament in the US right here in the Scenic City,” said Sean McDaniel, General Manager for Chattanooga FC, “the tournament is a high profile event, and having a match at Finley Stadium demonstrates not only how important soccer is to the city of Chattanooga, but how important the city is to soccer. Giving our fans an extra match at the beginning of the season is just icing on the cake.”
Season pass holders can use their jerseys and wristbands to enter the US Open Cup match at no additional charge.
