CFC Win Playoff Opener 5-0 Over Knoxville Force

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The CFC opened the NPSL playoffs on Friday as the top overall seed, and they played like the number one seed against Knoxville winning by a final of 5-0 at Finley Stadium.
The CFC’s first goal came on a penalty kick inside the box from Luke Winter.
With about three minutes left in the first half, Will Roberts scored on a header to make it 2-0 at halftime.
Third period and Winter launched a pass from midfield to Roberts who got behind the Knoxville defense.
He raced in and scored his second goal of the night to make it 3-0.
Moments later, Samuel Goni scored on a header from a corner kick to extend the lead to 4-0.
CFC tacked on one more score to produce the 5-0 final.
Chattanooga advances to play Memphis on Saturday night at 7:30 at Finley Stadium.
