CFD investigating fire on Summerbreeze Lane

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Fire Department is investigating a house fire at 1905 Summerbreeze Lane.

The call came in at 9:49 Saturday morning.

Hamilton County 911 was advised that the home had flames coming from a basement utility garage at the rear of the house.

The damage from the fire was confined to the basement, and no injuries were reported.

The homeowner said that he heard an explosion and went to the basement where he discovered the fire.
