Charges Dismissed for Kaylor Trial

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- There’s new information in a criminal case involving a former Red Bank police officer accused of assaulting an unarmed suspect.

Criminal charges were dropped against Mark Kaylor.

Last week his trial ended in a hung jury.

Back in 2014, he was seen on dash-cam video punching Candido Medina Resendiz.

The attorney for Resendiz tell’s News 12 that despite the dropped charges against Kaylor, a federal lawsuit against the city of Red Bank will still go forward.
