Charges Dropped Against Railroad Museum Worker for Statutory Rape

Chattanooga (WDEF) Sexual abuse charges have been dismissed against a Signal Mountain man.

Forty five year old Charles David Pugh was arrested last November and charged with statutory rape.

The complaint came from a 20 year old who said it happened several time at Pugh’s home in 2010.

The Hamilton county district attorney general’s office says the charge was dismissed this morning because the statute of limitations has expired.

Investigators said there could be more potential victims, but no other charges have been filed.
