Chattanooga Adult Star Talks Stigma & Banning Revenge Porn

CHATTANOOGA,TN, (WDEF)-This week Google begins filtering out "revenge porn" search options in an effort to protect victims across the world.

Paige, Chattanooga Porn Star,"A big difference between me who chooses to put that part of my life out there and then other people who did things in what they felt were a safe and trusted environment".

Porn star Paige tells News 12 all her work is consensual and professional while many videos watched online are not.

Tennessee remains one of 30 states that has not yet criminalized revenge porn.
Paige feels there needs to be more dialogue between legislators and those in the adult world.

"These are real people and you know they are not damaged or broken there is nothing wrong with them".

The rise in social media usage including Tumblr, Twitter and Dailymotion is now play a major role in promoting and advertise adult content.

"Go online and find out exactly what they are looking to see next and things like that it really gives me great insight into what they are looking for".

A Judge in Texas deemed revenge porn an invasion of privacy and awarded damages of up to half a million dollars this time last year.

Twitter and Reddit have also blocked revenge porn options in recent months.
Paige believes education and transparency are crucial in dealing with the stigma of pornography.
