Chattanooga Airport Launches Nonstop Punta Gorda Flight
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Airport is celebrating the launch of its inaugural nonstop flight to Punta Gorda, Florida.
This new route is expected to boost travel convenience and open new opportunities for both leisure and business travelers.
The new service, operated by Allegiant, offers budget-friendly fares and convenient scheduling.
Sharon Knight, one of the newest travelers on this route stated she thinks this flight path “is fantastic. Last time [she] flew out of Chattanooga to go to Cape Coral, it was a mess because you have to change planes in either Atlanta or Nashville and it takes all day, and this is much less expensive as well.”
The new biweekly services were announced in November 2024 and will now run seasonally from February through May, offering flights on Thursdays and Sundays.
Officials say if this route performs well, more nonstop destinations could be on the horizon. Flight days, times, and lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
