Chattanooga Airport Opening New 25 Million Parking Garage Very Soon

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga airport is finishing final touches on the newly constructed, four – story parking garage.

The twenty five million project took a little over a year to complete.

President/CEO of the Chattanooga airport, Terry Hart says additional parking and covered parking were needed to fit customer’s needs.

They hope to open the parking garage in the next couple days.

Hart says, “This whole region is growing, economically and that’s what drives us here at the airport. So, as we continue to do that, we want to make sure we’re keeping up with the infrastructure that’s necessary for the growth. The garage is one, the next thing that’s on the horizon is an expansion of the building.”

Hart says the design for expanding the airport building is underway and hopes to start next year.
