Chattanooga BBQ Week Serves Up $7 Deals Across the City
Chattanooga is firing up the flavor this week with the return of Chattanooga Barbecue Week, a citywide celebration of smoky, slow-cooked goodness.
More than a dozen local restaurants are taking part, offering $7 barbecue specials through June 22. From brisket tacos and smoked wings to ribs and classic Southern-style sides, there’s something sizzling for every taste.
News 12 stopped by Barque BBQ on East Main Street, where brisket sliders are the crowd favorite.
“We thought about how people could try more than one thing at the same time and serve it up for the week,” said Barque owner Ed Ryan. “We sold a bunch of them yesterday, and we’re going pretty hard today. We’re looking forward to the next three days.”
Barbecue Week is not only a treat for the taste buds but also a way to spotlight local pitmasters and help boost business during the summer season.
If you’re hungry, now’s the time to grab a fork—and maybe a few napkins.
