Chattanooga Christian Outlasts Boyd Buchanan 13-9

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The Chattanooga Christian baseball team continued to rally on Tuesday night before finally knocking off Boyd Buchanan 13-9 at CCS. The Bucs opened the game with four runs in the top of the first. CCS answered in the bottom half of the inning with three runs, including an RBI double from Chase McBryar. Boyd Buchanan answered in the top of the second. Corry Clift had a two RBI single to push the lead to 6-3. In the bottom of the second, CCS loaded the bases and Evan Walker came through with a base hit past third to score two runs that cut the Bucs lead to 6-5. Chattanooga Christian scored twice more in the bottom of the third to take a 7-6 lead. Then in the top of the fourth, the Bucs answered with three runs to go up 9-6. With CCS trailing 9-8 going to the bottom of the sixth, they put five runs on the board in the inning to claim the 13-9 victory.
