Chattanooga Firefighters begin annual MDA Boot campaign

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) Chattanooga firefighters want you to fill up their boots with money, and support a good cause.

They’re fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

From now until Saturday, from 10 until 2, you can stop by one of dozens of locations throughout the Scenic City and donate, to help those suffering from muscular dystrophy.

Firefighters tell us, they look forward to doing this fundraiser twice a year, and they hope to raise 43-thousand dollars in this drive.

Jack Thompson from the Chattanooga Firefighters Association says “It’s one thing that we’re all passionate about, and we know the good that it does. The kids are living longer now, and we want to try to help them out as best as we can with research and cures, and also to try to make their life as best as possible.”

Here are the locations they will be set up, but you can always drop off donations at any Chattanooga fire station.
