Chattanooga gas prices rise by 2.8c/g in past week

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — If you’re looking to fill up the tank, check for the cheapest option.

Average gas prices have risen nearly three cents per gallon in the last week. This averages to just over $3.00 in Chattanooga.

Prices are about 20 cents higher than a month ago but are 10 cents lower than this time last year.

The national average has fallen in the last week and is currently at $3.79/g.

We’re still much cheaper than the national average, with Chattanooga reporting $2.76 for some stations.

The most expensive in our area is $3.38.
