Chattanooga groceries ask to sell wine

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) Chattanooga has been one of the last Tennessee cities to move forward with selling wine in grocery stores.

Tennessee’s new law allowing the sale in groceries goes into affect this summer.

And tonight, we’re getting our first look at some of the stores that are bidding to take advantage.

They will apply for a license to sell wine at Tuesday’s city commission meeting.

Alexandria Adams has more on the changes coming on July 1st.
