Chattanooga is off to see ‘The Wiz!’

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Scenic City has turned into the Emerald City as the Memorial Auditorium is off to see The Wiz!

The Wiz is celebrating their 50th anniversary with a tour around the country, stopping in Chattanooga for a total of 8 shows. There are only a few shows remaining this weekend, with matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday.

The Wiz reimagines and twists the story of The Wizard of Oz by featuring an all-Black cast and R&B music as Dorothy tries to find her way home.

For those not caring where they sit, because all seats in the Memorial Auditorium are great, The Wiz is offering $30 RUSH tickets at the box office, available 2 hours before each performance.
