Chattanooga, Knoxville police chiefs working together on gang violence
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WVLT) — The Chattanooga police chief says he is in constant communication with Knoxville police to try and put an end to the recent gang violence.
After 12 shootings in two weeks, Chattanooga Police Chief Fletcher had to do something. He organized a group of local and state officers to make arrests and get guns off the streets.
Those shootings left one person dead, two pregnant women shot and nine other people with bullet wounds.
