Chattanooga Library Celebrates Constitution Week

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Public Library and the Daughters of the American Revolution invited the community to join in celebrating the 70th anniversary of Constitution Week with a day of events at the downtown branch.

Constitution Week was established in 1955 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and this year’s observance featured activities connected to the American Revolution Experience, a traveling pop-up exhibit on display at the library through September 24.

The exhibit combines interactive kiosks, custom illustrations, and historic documents to help visitors connect with the people and places that shaped America’s founding.

During today’s celebration, attendees took part in workshops led by genealogists and historians, explored interactive displays, and signed a community copy of the Constitution, showing patriotism with every pen stroke.

The exhibit and events are free to the public and located on the library’s third floor, available during regular operating hours.
