Chattanooga man held on a $200,000 bond for multiple felony charges

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – A Chattanooga man with a history of brushes with law enforcement was booked into the Hamilton County jail Thursday morning on 18-felony charges.

According to Hamilton County deputies, Clinton Lee Moore, Jr., 30, made counterfeit check to cash thousands of dollars at several financial institutions in Chattanooga and Hamilton County.

The felony charges against him include multiple counts of thefts, forgery and criminal simulation.

According to detectives, the crimes occurred during the spring and summer of last year.

Moore’s bond was set at more than $200,000 and he’s due in court next Tuesday.

Moore has a criminal rap sheet with multiple convictions that date back to 2004.
