Chattanooga Police investigate Monday evening shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A 19-year-old man turned up at a local hospital Monday evening with several non-life threatening gun shot wounds.

Chattanooga Police say officers were called to the 2600 block of 4th Ave. because of a report of shots fired.

However, police did not locate any victims at this location.

Victim JaMarcus Davis was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle.

He told officers he was the passenger in a vehicle when the suspect pulled along side and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle.
