Chattanooga Police Vehicle Involved in Crash

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- A Chattanooga police vehicle was involved in a crash on Thursday morning, July 7. An emergency call was received at 7:32 AM about an accident at the corner of Amnicola Highway and Lost Mound Drive. Police found two vehicles had collided, a police unit and a van.

The van was attempting to turn onto Amnicola Highway when it was struck by the police unit. Both drivers have been taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Traffic Division of the Chattanooga Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
