Chattanooga Quantum Collaborative offers free classes on technology

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Quantum Collaborative and EPB will be offering weeks of free courses surrounding quantum technology.

This is in honor of World Quantum Day on Sunday, April 14.

These courses are designed for a variety of age groups to prepare students and adults alike for the emergence of EPB’s Quantum Network.

Introduced in late 2022, the Quantum Network aims to provide users with cutting edge technology to expand the possibilities of their operations, a goal that the Collaborative says is getting attention.

Danna Bailey, chief communications officer with Qubitekk, said, “I think more people are interested in the idea of quantum technology in general. The Quantum Network here at EPB is just one of the quantum resources that are maturing and becoming available across the country.”

The programs will be up for six weeks through the end of May on the Chattanooga Quantum Collaborative’s website.
