Chattanooga Radio Control Club hosts Fly – Palooza

This weekend the Chattanooga Radio Control Club in Ooltewah, TN hosted free RC airplane lessons. 

This free event lets kids and teens try their hand controlling motorized airplanes ranging everywhere from one to four feet in length. There were also Simulation Trainings and RC Demos.

Clarke Gallaher with Extreme Flight RC said this hobby is actually more affordable than most people think. 

“You can actually buy an already built airplane with everything ready to go out of the box, for about $250 and you can be up and flying in no time, as long as you have some instruction. Just to make sure your investment is secure and you’re not crashing it,” said Gallaher.
