Chattanooga Reaches Settlement with Fired Officers Sean Emmer & Adam Cooley
The city of Chattanooga reaches an $88,000 settlement with two police officers fired for a controversial arrest.
Sean Emmer and Adam Cooley will not go back to work for the CPD, even though they won reinstatement from an administrative law judge.
The former officers already won back pay, but now will receive an additional ten-months of pay from the city.
Chattanooga will also pay the $5,000 owed to Adam Tatum by each officer.
The settlement calls for all lawsuits to be dropped and gives Emmer and Cooley a neutral recommendation toward police employment elsewhere.
