Chattanooga Red Wolves Unveil New Stadium Design

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The Chattanooga Red Wolves held a party Thursday night to unveil their new crest and new stadium design, which is expected to be completed for the 2020 season. About 200 people showed up at Edley’s Bar-B-Que to check out the stadium drawings. The new USL League 1 team plans to build a soccer-specific stadium with sky boxes, a beer garden, as well as field level boxes. The soccer venue will seat roughly 5,500 people, although General Manager Sean McDaniel says the team has not chosen a location yet. The stadium will also be home to a Lady Red Wolves team as well.

Said McDaniel: “They can’t wait. They literally can’t wait. They’re ready to go see soccer. And while we’re playing in Chattanooga Christian in 2019, it’s the perfect transition for where we’re going in 2020. When people are excited and enthusiastic about what’s to come, you know you’ve tapped into something special.”
