Chattanooga rental home prices rising

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga rentals have risen this year, according to a survey by Zumper. One-bedrooms have risen 18.8% since this time last year, and two-bedrooms have risen 16.9%.

They have risen since last month as well. One-bedrooms rose 0.2% and two-bedrooms rose 0.5% this past month.

The survey reveals that the median rental price for one-bedrooms in Chattanooga is $1,330. Additionally, the median rental price for two-bedrooms is $1,520.

Zumper’s report covers 100 cities across the U.S., and Chattanooga is ranked the 50th most expensive rental market in the nation.
