Chattanooga Salvation Army to help with Harvey relief

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Salvation Army of Chattanooga is stepping in to help with Harvey relief efforts.

The local chapter is part of the Kentucky-Tennessee Division, which is sending six mobile kitchen units, capable of feeding up to 15,000 people a day from each unit.

Division wide, The Salvation Army will be sending 15 officers as well.

Memphis will be the staging ground for all officers.

The Salvation Army is asking for donations to help with that effort.
