Riverside Film Festival

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga event organizers have put together a unique film festival for the area.

Local cars and local people gathered together for the first annual Riverside film festival. Traditionally a car show and local vendor event, Riverside Chattanooga has begun expanding its horizons, highlighting local films and photography surrounding their last Riverside event.

Hosted at White Duck Taco, the evening was filled with food, shopping, music, and the car community coming together.

While many guests were new to Riverside events, others were frequent visitors and championed the car community’s welcomeness and creativity.

The group decided to create a film festival to not only showcase some of the best moments from their last public event, but to highlight the individuals who form the backbone of these gatherings.

Most of all, people wanted to assure those who might be interested in visiting that this is not a closed off group, and that they would welcome anyone interested with open arms.

Riverside will be hosting their next car show in March, making it their 12th annual event.

The creators of Riverside will soon be leaving Chattanooga to expand their event towards the northwest, keeping its home base here in the scenic city. They expect many more film shows to come.
