Chattanooga Zoo Celebrates 80th Birthday

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Zoo’s 80th birthday celebration will be this Saturday, August 5th.

This event will be free with the purchase of regular zoo admission. Chattanooga Zoo Members receive free admission.

Activities will include:
– Crafts stations to make birthday party hats and birthday cards
-Face painting
-Bounce House
-Animal Ambassador meet & greets
-History booth to learn about the zoo over the years
– An enrichment schedule so you can watch your favorite animals receive celebratory enrichment!

Enrichment Schedule:
11:00- Francois Langurs
11:30- Bobcats
12:00- Spur-Thighed Tortoises
12:30- Camels
1:00- Jaguars
1:30- Meerkat
2:00- Alpacas
