CHI Memorial offering first mobile lung screenings of 2024
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – CHI Memorial is looking to kick off 2024 by providing lung screening to patients.
This Friday, January 5, they are taking the mobile lung screening to the East Gate Town Center.
Last year, CHI provided more than 3,000 lung screening.
CHI is hoping to surpass that number this year.
“Lung cancer is the most prevalent cancer in tendency and early detection is key. So, just come get your lung screening so that you can get a head start on the New Year,” said Caroline Wolf, Outpatient Coordinator for CHI Memorial Lung Screening Program.
Screenings are set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Partners in Care, located at 5616 Brainerd Road, Suite 108.
Patients must be between the ages of 50 and 80 to be eligible. Medicare patients must be between the ages of 50 and 77.
